Hi I am using igetter to download - for example 8 files (.rars) for one movie. With each single file when the download is complete automatically opens unrarx and then fails in its extraction (obviously, because it is one of several files that need to be extracted together) how can i stop unrarx from opening these files on download / automatically? I dont mind having to open my files manually. thanks BB
I have exactly the same problem. I'm downloading a 18.5GB file split into 183 fragments at the moment, and the autostart feature of UnrarX is causing disruption. UnrarX is dumping GB-sized files of stuff that it can't ultimately resolve because it's trying to unpack each individual fragment as it comes in. To get it to stop, I either sit and delete each UnrarX window as it opens, or I have to temporarily put the program in the trash--not convenient, I think you'll agree!
Is there a Boolean function to defeat the autostart? I'm useless with command line programs, so your help would be appreciated. I'm using OS X 10.4.11.
